"This little verses program is the best of its kind anywhere. You can't get one quite like it for Windows Mobile or even for your PC. With this app, you'll have a systematic, easy to use tool to memorize more scripture than you ever thought possible! I was recently asked which apps I consider "must haves" for the Palm and I replied that they are all replaceable except one. I won't buy a handheld or phone that can't run MyVerses!"

MyVerses is an attempt to blend the best of several different Scripture memorization methods into one convenient program for handheld computers. Ron Hood's wonderful book How to Successfully Memorize & Review Scripture describes an effective system of review that, with his permission, is used as the default review schedule in MyVerses. The review schedule component is customizable, however, and you can configure MyVerses to follow recommendations from other methods or create your own unique system of review.

So much fun and handy!
"I love this. The best part is that the software designer wrote me directly with technical support answers to 'coach' me and help me figure it out! I do a devotion every day, but had no where to keep track of what I was learning or what I wanted to memorize. Now my husband and I quiz each other and have great fun 'outdoing' one another when we are on long road trips. The best advantage about this software is the SUPPORT! You talk to the real designer! What a plus and he is so helpful. If you are looking for a portable, compact, consolidated, and EASY! That's a big plus! MyVerses is far, far ahead of the competition.

Compared to other programs I've used, MyVerses is far, far ahead of the competition feature-wise and flexibility-wise. There are many reasons why MyVerses drew me to change memorizing applications but the two top reasons are listed below.
1) The Schedule option.
It keeps my focus in meditating and memorizing verses because MyVerses automates what I should review daily, weekly, monthly and even quarterly. Just set the schedule one time and you're done. MyVerses does that for you.
2) The Tools option in the View verses form.
The way I memorize scripture is I read a particular verse repeatedly until I memorize it. And the  button hides a word randomly for every tap of the button until it hides all the words in the verses you are memorizing. So I go like this: I read/recite, then tap-tap (hiding two words). I read/recite the verse again then tap-tap (hiding another two words for a total of four words). I do this until I can recite the verse from memory. This option also helps me picture the words in my mind. A very, very helpful feature. To my knowledge, this is the only application that can to that.
MyVerses is an essential app for anyone who has a passion for memorizing scripture and uses a Palm OS device.
